Import monitoring and management system
Import Sys is the monitoring and management system for Softway import operations. The system performs the entire import process: from the Purchase Order to the goods arrival at the company warehouse.
Import Sys consolidates the information of import processes in one database that uses the Oracle database management system, and is carefully designed to keep the information integrated and available. The information is consolidated from the data generated by several departments in the company, and by external agents involved in the import process, such as Brokers, Cargo Agents, Carriers, and others.
The process starts by automatically extracting the purchase order from corporate system(s) (SAP, Oracle, Baan, etc.). Then, the system indicates import licenses needs, dispatch instructions, cargo consolidation, suggestions of the best Customs regime to apply, estimated cost calculation based on service provider agreements, Import Statement (DI/DSI), entry and additional notas fiscais, accountancy for those values and documents into the company ERP, and others purposes.
In addition to the operational process automation, Import Sys is also a powerful management tool. It allows the integration of large amounts of performed import data (history), aiming at creating different kinds of reports and statistics (performance, costs, etc), and at using this forecast automatically. The system allows the generation of synthetic and analytical reports, and enables the user to view the results through graphics of different models.
Import Sys can be implemented with the optional module Broker Sys, which helps the user fill and register import licenses (LIs/LSIs), export licenses (Dis/DSIs), notas fiscais (entry and additional), and ICMS bills, aiming at obtaining the highest integration and agility levels when preparing legal documents.
